Ingredients: Spanish red wine, brandy, orange juice, apple, blackberries, pomegranate
Have you ever wondered how it`s like to visit Costa del Sol from the Spanish riviera? Well now it`s easier to imagine with our special Sangria. Red wine mixed with fresh fruits like apples, blackberries and pomegranates are all mixed with brandy and a bit of orange juice. This is the perfect recipe for a original Sangria.
In the south of Spain Sangria is often called zurra. Sangria is based on the traditional red wine punch popular across Europe for hundreds of years. The punch base would be claret. Claret is the British term for Bordeaux wine from Bordeaux, France. This red wine is traditionally made from a blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot. Brandy and fruit would be added to the red wine punch for flavor.
Don’t just buy a mix at the store – trust our experience and have fun while drinking our Sangria recipe! Sangria’s appeal is all about tasting your favorite wine and your favorite fruits and experimenting with them.
We hope you will enjoy this traditional Spanish Drink!
